Apparently today is St Cuthbert's Day, which seems like a good excuse to brighten up the blog with some pictures of his erstwile home, the Holy Island of Lindisfarne.
Lindisfarne has one of the iconic castles of the Northumbrian coast, which is a recurring feature around our house for various reasons.
Very cool castle! Thanks for sharing.
Cool photos,I have been there when I was 11. Dad and I walked across the causeway. We caught the bus up from Whitley Bay. My Dads family came from thereabouts and my grandfather who died before I was born was called Cuthbert a family name which ended with Dad.
I just finished Countless as the Stars-very entertaining and great fun to see how you were going to interpret the story. I hope you are writing a sequel I can't wait to see how you handle the Exodus!
It has inspired me to blow the dust off an idea I had maybe 15 years ago. I suppose you could call it a New Testament Space Opera based on the idea that there is a Saviour for every species. It seems to be writing itself. Cara
Just what I needed - more competition!
Seriously though, thank you both for stopping by long enough to comment. :)
Oh, and Cara - I do have an Exodus scenario already worked out in my head!
